The 3 Notion templates everyone needs
After consulting dozens of businesses, I have started to see the systems that people mostly need so here are the 3 most widely used Notion Templates that can help you get started.
It is quite complicated (and long) to get a Notion system we feel comfortable with, but there are some shortcuts that we can take in order to get there faster.
And one of the shortcuts are Notion templates.
Templates that other people have created and that can be the starting point of our own systems.
After consulting dozens of businesses, I have started to see the systems that people mostly need so here are the 3 most widely used Notion Templates that can help you get started.
1. Personal Goals and Tasks manager Notion template
Tasks are the core of everything we do, so the first thing that we normally build for any client is a task manager.
It can be as simple as the above image.
A simple database with some metadata and some useful views on the top.
But if we want to take it a notch further, we can as well have databases for our Goals and our Outcomes, and link them to the Tasks via a Relational Property.
This way we ensure that every task we do is always helping at least one outcome to move forward.
2. Content Creation Notion template
Lots of businesses rely on creating content to attract customers to their doors.
Creating content is harder than it seems, and we need a Notion template to track where every piece of content is.
Once we grow, this will also allow us to delegate some parts of the creation process while having everything always under control.
A simple database with a kanban view can be enough, although it would be easier to create a specific view for each part of the process (idea generation, scheduling, scripting...)
For that we have this Notion template called Content Mastery.
3. Remote Teams Notion template
If you’re working with a team and need a central place to manage everything related to your company, you can do that in Notion.
This company workspace typically contains:
- A company-wide task manager
- OKRs (Objective & Key Results)
- SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- and a Meeting minutes organizer
All of this is usually displayed within a single dashboard so every member of the team can navigate easily to them.
